Meeting Minutes

We have added an option to reinvite Gladis (the BoardCloud meeting bot) into an active meeting. This option is intended to allow a CoSec or meeting convener to invite a Gladis bot if Gladis:

  • Fails to be allowed into a meeting
  • Has an issue joining a meeting
  • Has not been invited in the first place

As long as your meeting is active and you have the meeting link, the "Reinvite Gladis" button can be used to manually bring our BoardCloud AI notetaker into an active meeting.

Teams Integration, Now Powered by BoardCloud

This option allows a BoardCloud-generated Microsoft Teams meeting to be created and linked to your BoardCloud meetings. Simply hit the Teams button during meeting creation to automatically generate and attach a Teams link—no extra setup required.

The main reason for this is to avoid the tricky and technical task of allowing BoardCloud access to your organization’s Teams setup. This task usually involves highly skilled IT staff who are familiar with Teams backend security permissions and privileges.

Longer Silence Timeout for Uninterrupted Sessions

Gladis now stays connected through longer pauses—the silence timeout has been increased to 1 hour, so quiet stretches in your meeting (breaks, deliberations, etc.) won't cause it to disconnect early. Note that breaks longer than 1 hour are not supported.

Now, building packets and minutes and exporting meeting materials is noticeably faster.

BoardCloud Reader

There have also been a number of subtle UI improvements to the Reader for a cleaner, more polished experience. These improvements are designed to make life easier for board and committee members.
