Our Journey: A Short History
BoardCloud was born out of a clear necessity: boards of directors and executive committees needed a secure, agile, and highly reliable environment to manage sensitive meeting materials without the administrative friction of legacy systems. Developed by Syncrony Digital since 2016, BoardCloud was architected from the ground up as a modern, multi-tenant SaaS platform built on a secure, robust .NET Core foundation.
Recognizing that data sovereignty and security are paramount for corporate governance, we designed BoardCloud with a strict, ring-fenced architecture. Every tenant's data is isolated into its own dedicated database and protected by AES-256 on-disk encryption.
To support our global client base and comply with local data protection regulations, we deployed independent, secure BoardCloud clusters across regional data hubs in the USA, the UK, South Africa, and Australia.
Over the years, BoardCloud has evolved from a core agenda builder into a comprehensive board ecosystem. We have continually integrated enterprise-grade features, from advanced AI-driven meeting transcript synthesis to seamless, automated document workflows integrated with BoldSign. Today, BoardCloud powers seamless, secure governance for organizations across the globe.
Why We Maintain a Public Roadmap
We believe that great software isn't built in a vacuum. It is shaped by the evolving needs of the people who rely on it every day. We created this roadmap site to foster transparency, collaboration, and clear communication between our development team and our community.
